Get lost in #urbanfantasy & #paranormal #romance with angels & demons!

Nothing quite tickles our creative spines like angels and demons. It’s that age-old tale of evil versus good, negative versus positive. In the paranormal genre, you can even find witches and vampires dallying with the angels and demons, which just makes books even more magical.

In some REALLY good books,  you may find yourself rooting for the bad guy. Because in fiction, you never know who to trust, who to side-eye, and who to skewer with a broadsword.

In honor of the DEMON’S ENVY release, I’ve gathered a list of  awesome angel and demons reads!

In Kremlin Circle, where demon queen Belias sits on a throne built of human blood, beauty can get you killed.

Gadreel was an angel who fell long before the envy curse came to Kremlin Circle. Belias and her demons brought hell to earth, destroying his happiness in the process. Now living in isolation, Gad broods on his wife and daughter’s premature deaths and waits for the world to end.

Then Raphael, right-hand to God, shows up on Gad’s doorstep with a declaration from the Big Man himself: Gad is the only man capable of ending Belias’ reign of terror. Armed with an arcane spell and little else, he must search out the strongest witch in the circle to help him defeat the demon queen.

His problem? The strongest witch in the circle is his wife’s uncle, Yulian, who isn’t happy about the way Gad abandoned him after his niece’s death. Even worse, in the fifty years since the two men last spoke, Yulian adopted a daughter.

And she may be the biggest danger to Gad yet.

Fans of Jim Butcher’s Dresden Files and Hugh Howey’s Wool will travel breathlessly through this dystopian society where the demons in charge don’t have the best interests of the people in mind and only magic can save them.

One-click today and don’t miss out on this sarcastic attempt to save the world by an aging witch, a badass in heels, and an ex-angel with an attitude problem.

Souls are being recruited by the devil himself to prepare for an all-out war against Heaven, and Reese Lespoir finds herself at the heart of it. She’s awoken from a coma by a kiss from a mysterious stranger who’s more prickly than prince. As she tries to assimilate to normal teenage life, she learns she now has the power to see the future, which apparently, requires careful training. Enter Prickly Prince, who seems to find more enjoyment being a witty drunk than honing her craft.

When a girl is taken by Onyx City’s most notorious criminal, who may or may not be a demon, Reese is thrust into the forefront of the impending war well before she’s ready. Her new friend, Andie Shepherd, is intent on getting her sister back from the demonic criminal at all costs, and if Reese doesn’t help, Andie may have to rely on the assistance of a vigilante known only as Black Wing, dangerous as he is tall, dark and handsome. And that’s only if he’s in a particularly generous mood. Just because he has wings doesn’t mean he’s always an angel, after all.

Awaken is the first book in a new urban fantasy romance series that fan of Batman and dark adaptions of Greek mythology can’t put down.

Viola Danvers is the foul-mouthed exorcist you never hope to meet, because if she’s around—you’ve got problems. Hellish problems. Covered in protective tattoos and with a priest for a stepbrother, she travels the world taking on whatever nasty thing that just crawled out of Hell.

Most of Viola’s customers tend to be financially stunted—leave it to demons to prey on the poor—but when a wealthy Scotsman asks for her help, suddenly it’s more than restless souls sweeping Vi off her feet. As the new client tries to break down her walls, demons smell sin in the water… and it’s his soul they’re circling. Can Viola save the Scotsman without losing her heart in the process?

GRAVE THINGS is book one in a series about fighting demons, finding love, and trying to stay off the Devil’s preferred guest list.

Some rules are made to be broken.

Grace is a Protection Angel and Vampire Hunter, and she has always followed the rules. Until now, fighting evil has been simple: kill the bad guys, keep the good guys safe. Falling in love was never part of the plan.

When she least expects it, Grace falls for the wrong guy. Her worst enemy becomes her most important ally, and amongst the love and betrayal, Grace must make a life changing decision.

Blood will be shed, lives lost, and friendships tested. Can Grace save those closest to her? Or will she pay the ultimate price for breaking the rules?

Fans of BuffyFallen, and Twilight will love this fast paced young adult read. Fall For Me will make your heart race, but it will also break it along the way.

I was burned at the stake at fourteen…
I was drowned in a lake when I was twenty-four…
At twenty-seven, I was stoned in a public square…
I have died a hundred times in a hundred different ways, usually at the hands of the humans I’ve tried to save. But when a pregnant young woman finds her way into my tattoo shop with a demon on her tail, things go from bad to worse. Being a centuries-old witch isn’t going to help me – nothing will. This time I might just die in a way that sticks… Permanently.
I am not a good man.

Wait, that’s a lie. I’m not even a man anymore. Signing away my eternity to the Devil kind of erased what makes me human. Corrupting and collecting souls is my job now. The perks are good—fun, sin, highs, sex, and climbing the demonic ranks of the lower kingdom.

Now, I’m only one soul away from becoming a crowned prince of hell. My goal for the past four centuries. The one soul I’m assigned to corrupt is Nephilim-born Maggie Westbrook—a shy, beautiful seventeen-year-old who has no idea who or what she is.

Easy as sin, right?

Wrong. She turns my world upside down and tears down walls I’ve been erecting for centuries, leaving me raw, exposed, and feeling—feeling things I didn’t even know I was capable of feeling. Ever again.

How can I get the only thing I’ve ever wanted without hurting her?

I am not a good man. It’s important that I repeat that. I am the demon Abraxas Shepherd. And this is my Testimony of the Damned.

One day, I’m nobody. The next, I’m a witch. And I’ve caught the attention of three smoking hot demons.

I left home to start over, to escape a world I never fit in. I soon learned that my past was a lie. My parents suppressed my magical abilities and tried to make me forget my true nature. They almost succeeded.

Now my real grandmother is back in my life and teaching me the craft of our people. After living my whole life without magic, I feel like a blind woman seeing for the first time.

But three devilishly handsome men are saying there’s more to my story. I see them everywhere, even in my dreams which are starting to feel like distant memories.

They say I’m not an ordinary witch. My grandmother says not to trust them. Who do I believe?

The beauty of an Angel. The Heart of the Devil. A war is about to be waged for her soul. Can love prove to be the one saving grace that Lucifer cannot master?

Reckless. Impetuous and arrogant. Amara is Lucifer’s daughter in every way. In the high court of hell, no one has captured more angels than she has. But she has never felt anything for them. Not until him.

The high counsel of Heaven sent their mightiest warrior, Cathal, to kill Amara and snuff out the danger she presents. But her beauty causes him pause. He senses the tremble. A flicker of goodness buried deep inside of her.

If Cathal can kindle the spark and allow that goodness to grow, he can save her from herself and from inheriting the flame of hell.

As the gladiator games for her hand in marriage heat up, can Amara find the strength to come out of the dark and stand in the light?

   A supernatural criminal profiler…

Sophie Gates had one New Year’s resolution…then came along Hell’s darkest bad boy, Sebastian Valentine, and her do over went out the window.

Now she has forty-eight hours to declare Sebastian a cold-blooded killer or a saintly savior. But proving his innocence isn’t easy when the task lands her on Hell’s most dangerous hit list. And being targeted by Hell’s Pit Lord might not have anything to do with the sinfully sexy Sebastian Valentine.

A fallen angel with a half-human soul and a vampire’s stone-cold heart…

Sebastian Valentine has spent centuries fighting his uncle Lucifer’s drug lords from distributing Hell’s most lethal narcotic—Crypt Candy—on earth.

But on a cold January night, when he comes face to face with a demonic messenger—and a dead body that has his vampiric essence stamped all over it, the same residual energies needed to manufacture Crypt Candy—the tables are turned.

Now his fate rests in the hands of an immortal human trained in angelic warfare—Sophie Gates. But putting his trust in the care of the one woman he secretly gave up half his soul to protect, places them both in the utmost danger.

Two fates entangled in the war between Heaven and Hell…

Temptation hasn’t been this sinful since the fall of Eden.

An angel’s rules were simple: obey the Archangels, don’t show yourself to humans, and never fall in love with one.

Lash broke them all.

Banished to Earth for defying the archangels, Lash is given one last chance to redeem himself. His mission is simple: protect Naomi Duran, a captivating young woman lost in grief. The assignment proves to be anything but simple when the Archangels withhold key information about Naomi and refuse to restore Lash’s powers. When an unexpected source reveals centuries-old secrets, his trust is shaken to the core, and he begins to doubt those whom he had once considered to be his greatest allies.

Determined to avoid anything that would risk his chances of returning home, Lash struggles with the greatest obstacle of all–his growing feelings for Naomi. But when her life is threatened by an unknown source, Lash questions the wisdom of the Archangels and his ability to keep her safe. Soon, Lash will have to choose where to place his trust–in the home he has fought so hard to regain or in the forbidden love he can’t bear to lose.

A war between humans and angels is coming, and only one woman can stop it.

The Great War is over, its fires quenched.
The guns are silent.
The Dead are waking.
Meg van Helsing grew up with a book in one hand and a wooden stake in the other, a crucifix always around her neck.
